Contract Lawyering at its Best
The lawyers at Cognitive Legal Support implement a legal support workflow that produces top notch work product, delivered simply and efficiently. We know time is money and no one can afford to waste either.
Whether you are a securities or white collar fraud litigator in Manhattan, an insurance claims defense attorney in Chicago, or a real estate litigator in Los Angeles, with Cognitive Legal Support, the process is inherently the same:
1. You discuss the nature and scope of the task or project with one of our managing lawyers.
2. We review and sign an Engagement Letter outlining our mutual responsibilities.
3. You review our selected lawyers’ resumés and interview the ones you choose. Or simply take our recommendation.
4. The work begins.
We suggest you start with a fact memo describing the particular matter and the task to be performed and a specimen of your prior work so our CLS lawyer can adapt to your style of manuscript form. You have as much or as little direct supervision as you prefer. Once the lawyer is selected, you are free to contact him or her directly as often as necessary via email, Skype, or phone. We strictly maintain an in-house quality control protocol so our work product submissions are consistently on time and in final form, subject to your approval.
5. Task/project review.
Once the assigned task or project is submitted, we will arrange to confer with you to discuss your level of satisfaction with our work product and process. We will also get feedback from our project managers and lawyers about their experience working with you, and any difficulties that may have arisen to ensure our work process is always being improved.
